Administrative Coordinator, Learning Support Department
BA Hunter College, The City University of New York; MS Fordham University
2024-present
Claudia is a native Bronxite. After earning a BA in English language arts, Claudia taught English for six years at Saint Vincent Ferrer High School. She taught freshmen the importance and societal impact of Shakespeare in pop culture and discussed with sophomores the evolution of the American dream since F. Scott Fitzgerald’s time. Claudia also shared her love of acting by spearheading the school’s theater program. While teaching, she earned an MS in adolescent English education from Fordham University. Prior to joining Trinity, Claudia took on a support role as a special education coordinator at Success Academy High School of the Liberal Arts – Manhattan, where she helped students gain access to New York State curricula. While working in education brings her great joy, performing with her choir and in musicals allows Claudia to tap into her deep passion for singing and acting. She enjoys exploring New York City and traveling to different countries to learn more about the world. Although the Bronx will always hold a special place in her heart, Claudia currently lives in Yonkers with her husband and Rogue, their cat, who runs the household. She is excited to join the Learning Support Department at Trinity.
