Colby is excited to join Trinity after being employed for thirteen years at an Achievement First Middle School, a charter school in Brooklyn. During his time there, Colby worked as a learning specialist and English teacher across all middle school grades. He spent the past eight years as the school’s academic dean of English language arts. Colby is a Louisiana native. He earned a BA in art history from Stanford University before moving to New York, where he served as a Teach for America Corps member while earning an MS in special education from Hunter College. In his spare time, he loves listening to music, traveling, cooking, and exploring the New York City restaurant scene.
