Juanita Yim, ex officio; President, Parents’ Association

Juanita and her husband, Roger, are parents to three Trinity students: Sammi ’23, Andy ’25, and Katie ’27. Since joining the Trinity community in 2010, when her oldest child entered Kindergarten, Juanita has been an active member of the School community. She has chaired a booth at the Winter Festival, given Lower School tours, sold used uniforms, and helped organize Lunar New Year chapels in the Lower School. She has also served as a class representative and executive class representative for her children’s classes as well as Lower School executive vice-president and Middle School executive vice-president in the Parents’ Association. Juanita will serve as president of the Parents' Association for the next two years. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Juanita moved to Michigan with her family during her high school years. She earned a BA in psychology and a BSE in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan. After graduation, she worked at a consulting firm, then pursued a career in the healthcare tech industry. Juanita returned to the paid workforce in 2015 after almost a decade as a stay-at-home mom. She currently works at a small startup in the city.
